  previously, it has never been a good idea as it uses a lot of resources.
  we tried this using the old servers with TorrentFlux, and it was a disaster as the server just came to a crawl...they may be able to handle it now, but I'd test thoroughly.

  On my windows machine I use Airvideoserver for videos and audiogalaxy for music... to stream to my ipad even over 3g with no router ports to open!
  something similar ... maybe a upnp server that would work over the internet instead of just a lan...

  I'm not sure what CPU & memory parameters of the normal seedboxes are, but the minis would die from the transcoding load.

  I like this idea alot also... would save alot of time downloading, and also space.. BIG thumbs up from me
